Shahin Nazarian, Ph.D.

Dr. Shahin Nazarian is a Professor of Engineering Practice in the ECE Dept. at USC. His research, teaching and industry experience span a wide array of areas, including hardware–software co-design, artificial intelligence, algorithm design and optimization, many-core architectures, system-on-chip (SoC) design, security, and system verification. He has served as a consultant to numerous leading semiconductor and technology companies—including Apple, Broadcom, Facebook, Google, Intel, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Texas Instruments, Xilinx, and others—demonstrating his expertise in guiding complex, high-stakes engineering projects and contributing to major litigation matters.

Massoud Pedram, Ph.D.

Dr. Massoud Pedram is the Charles Lee Powell Chair Professor in the ECE Department at USC. He is internationally recognized as a pioneer in low-power VLSI design, AI, energy-efficient computing, and EDA (electronic design automation). Dr. Pedram has authored around a 1000 peer-reviewed publications, written four books, and holds over 10 U.S. patents. His work has been cited over 40,000 times, earning him an H-index above 100 and placing him among the most prolific contributors in the history of CAD and VLSI. He has received numerous prestigious honors and awards. His groundbreaking contributions to physical synthesis, low-power design, superconductor technologies, have shaped academic and industry practices. He has extensive experience in expert witness testimony, patent analysis, and technical consulting. Dr. Pedram is uniquely qualified to support complex, high-stakes legal matters. Paul Bogdan, Ph.D.

Paul Bogdan is a Professor in ECE Department at USC. He leads USC’s Cyber Physical Systems Group, conducting research at the intersection of network science, graph theory, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and complex systems engineering. He has received numerous prestigious awards, authored hundreds of publications, and holds several patents, all recognizing his innovative contributions in these fields.
